1st National Institute Students’ Meet, Delhi

With a motive to provide a common platform to the students from various national institutes spread across Delhi, Think India’s Delhi team has taken an initiative to club them all together at Aavaahn’17.

Aavaahn’17 is a full-day event being curated by Think India(Delhi) that will be held at Vivekananda Hall, Ramakrishna Mission, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, New Delhi on Saturday, 11th March, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Considering that Science, Security, Economics and Spirituality are pivotal for the overall growth of our nation, Aavaahn’17 will be focussed on the same. We firmly believe that the youth of India studying at the national institutes can play an integral and profound role towards nation building. To facilitate this, Aavaahn’17 will offer several helplines to the students in the form of brainstorming sessions conducted by eminent and distinguished speakers; debates over major social issues of concern; and opportunity to recommend initiatives potent of healthy transformation of the nation.

Aavaahn’17 will also provide the students with a privilege to listen to some esteemed personalities who have contributed remarkably in the success and global recognition of India. We hope that their expertise in diverse arena will present guidelines, foster learning, and kindle sparks of motivation in the audience to strive hard for taking the country to pinnacle of success!

Idea4India Competition

Under the umbrella of Aavaahn’17, Idea4India Competition shall be conducted on the following topics:

  • Business Model for Ayurveda
  • Youth Participation in Security Science for Society
  • Inclusive Economic Models
  • Indigenous Education System
  • Dispute free Societies

Interested students can submit the extended abstract comprising of 600-800 words by February 28th, 2017 at aavaahn17@gmail.com . The best ideas will be awarded with handsome prize money (20K, 15K, 10K INR) and a certificate acknowledging their effort.

Guidelines for manuscript preparation

The manuscript should be precise and brief: maximum two pages. It is preferable to use Microsoft Word processor.

  • Text: Font style-Times New Roman (strictly), Font size 12.5, 1.5 line spacing between lines and 1.5 line spacing between paragraphs. No indentation for paragraph beginning.
  • Main heading: Title case, Font size 14, Bold.
  • Sub-headings: Title case, Font size 12.5, Italic.
  • Margins: left – 1.1″ (2.794 cm); top, right, and bottom – 1″ (2.54 cm) each

Registration for the Idea4India Competition

Once your idea is shortlisted for the presentation, you will be notified via e-mail. Selected participants should then register for the competition with fee payment of INR 200.The payment can be made via NEFT Transfer to the account mentioned below, or preferably through BHIM app. On-spot payment on the day of idea presentation is also allowed.

Important Dates for Idea4India Competition

Last date for the submission: February 28th, 2017.

Acceptance will be communicated by March 1st, 2017.

Presentation and evaluation will be held at Indian Institute of Mass Communication, JNU New Campus, Aruna Asif Ali Road, New Delhi, Delhi 110075 on March 4th and 5th, 2017.
